Oh Snap
The first sight, the first touch. Like a child on Christmas morning. It arrives, so delicately swathed in layers of protective material. Fragile. Meant for use, but for use with care. Closed, waiting to be opened. Waiting for it’s small eyes to be given the first look at everything that we fail to see, everything we fail to remember. That is what it’s purpose is – for every word we cannot express. Smooth rolling curves of flat, unadulterated perfection. Occasionally punctured by undulating ridges that move without much resistance against the lightest touch of your fingers. Dials that swirl between your fingertips like the quickly disappearing waves of the ocean.
And buttons. Many, many buttons just waiting to be pushed. Just one small movement and everything changes. One minute you’ll see, and the next second, what you saw will blur before your very eyes.It moves in tune with you. To the right, to the left. And it sees everything. Not one second misses it’s sharp glance. For the envy of others. It sees you, and you can see right through it.
Now, all you have to do it push that button.
